At present time, as most of you know, Imam Bukhari Masjid has been providing services for the Muslim Community for over twenty years. The facility where the Masjid is located is a rental property and is on a month to month lease.

We as a community, with the help of Allah (SWT) have the responsibility to maintain the Masjid and ensure its existence for our future generations. We are committed to provide better services for the community, expand and improve the facility, and establish a permanent place of worship owned by the Muslim Community rather than pay rent on a monthly basis, be at the mercy of landlords and depend on unpredictable rental market.

Al-Hamdu-lillah, with your help and generous donations we are closer to achieving our goal of owning our own property and are closer to our targeted amount needed to make a down payment towards the purchase. We still have a long way to go. We are confident that with the blessings of Allah (SWT) and your support and generous donations we will reach our goal.

A humble request is being made to those who have made a pledge during the fundraising event to please continue sending in your pledged amounts at your earliest convenience. There is no better way to spend our money, which is given to us by Allah (SWT) than to spend it on building and sustaining His house of worship, our beloved Masjid.
